We’re Renée & Kristi, your Certified Birth Doulas, Lactation Consultants & Educators with 20 years of combined professional experience, serving over 500+ families just like you and we are just as excited to serve and guide you in your transformative journey.
Renée is a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International, Certified Holistic Birth Doula through The Matrona and a Certified Lactation Consultant through Mami Mia Inc. Renée graduated with honors from Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Psychology. While Renée truly loved her career in Training & Development she transitioned her passion of training and development from the conference room to the birth room. Since 2009 she has been educating and empowering families across the country for the ultimate position – parenthood. She believes pregnancy & parenthood are the most worthy investments that every family can make to achieve their highest potential.
As a Mother of three teens, Renée has this unique advantage of both the early stages of pregnancy, newborn care & development and how building a solid family foundation early on impacts the family’s success for generations to come.
When Renée isn’t teaching or supporting families, she loves curling up with a book that feeds her heart and mind—she’s always sharing the most thoughtful insights from what she reads to inspire others. She loves soaking in the magic of live concerts and natural remedies, and making the sweetest memories with her husband, kids and cane corso Hulk. Her authenticity and genuine love for connecting with people make her feel like the friend you’ve known forever, who always has your back, which is exactly why families trust her to be on their team.
Kristi is a certified professional Birth and Postpartum Doula, Lactation Expert & Educator. Perhaps her most celebratory title is a VBAC Mama!!
Kristi graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice. She worked as a Paralegal for a private law firm and then for NY State. She became interested in helping others with birthwork after she gave birth to her oldest daughter in 2018 and realized the impact that education and support can have on your birth, lactation and postpartum experiences.
While she was pregnant with her second daughter, she transitioned her professional career to birth work. As a VBAC Mom, Kristi’s experience is a real asset to expecting families as her knowledge and insight are threaded through the quality of her professional care & guidance.
Outside of supporting families through labor, Kristi loves the infectious energy of a live comedy show. She has a knack for whipping up mouthwatering dishes in the kitchen, and sweet treats and most of all cherishes heartfelt moments spent with husband, children and friends. Kristi is known to go above and beyond in caring for the families she works with which allows them to always achieve their personal goals.
